Canvas Student

View modules, submit work, take quizzes, check grades, and join discussions on the go.

Canvas Teacher

Post announcements, grade with mobile SpeedGrader, and manage due dates away from a desk.

Canvas Parent

Observers follow assignment status and grades when the school enables parent access.

How to sign in on the app

  1. Install the correct app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Tap Find my school and search your institution—or enter the Canvas URL manually.
  3. Sign in with school credentials (or complete campus SSO).
  4. Allow account access when prompted so the app can stay signed in.

QR login (fastest)

  1. Log in to Canvas in a desktop browser.
  2. Open Account → QR for Mobile Login and choose Proceed.
  3. In the app, choose QR login and scan within 10 minutes.
Note: Some schools disable QR login. If you do not see the option, use Find my school + credentials instead.
