SpeedGrader Tips for Canvas Teachers

SpeedGrader is the Canvas teacher tool for reviewing submissions, leaving comments, and applying rubrics without downloading every file.

Faster grading habits

1. Open the assignment → SpeedGrader before the due date so settings are ready.
2. Use a rubric so scores stay consistent across sections.
3. Leave short written or media comments students can find under Grades.
4. Grade on the Canvas Teacher app when you are away from a laptop.
